Hibiscus Strawberry Iced Tea

This vibrant hibiscus strawberry iced tea is refreshing, naturally tart, and rich in plant antioxidants. Fresh strawberries add a subtle sweetness and beautiful depth of flavor, while citrus brightens the tea for a crisp, cooling herbal drink perfect for warm days.


Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
• 2 cups hot water
• 3–4 fresh strawberries (juiced or sliced)
• Juice of ½ lime or lemon
• 3–6 drops monk fruit extract or 1–2 teaspoons agave (optional)
• Ice
• Fresh mint (optional garnish)
• Lime or lemon slices (optional)


Instructions

  1. Bring water to a near boil.

  2. Add dried hibiscus flowers to a teapot or heat-safe jar.

  3. Pour hot water over the hibiscus.

  4. Cover and steep for 8–10 minutes.

  5. Strain the tea to remove the flowers.

  6. Juice the fresh strawberries using your juicer or mash them gently and strain.

  7. Stir the fresh strawberry juice into the hibiscus tea.

  8. Add citrus juice and sweeten lightly with monk fruit drops or agave if desired.

  9. Allow the tea to cool, then pour over ice.

  10. Garnish with mint and citrus slices if desired.

Serve chilled and enjoy.
