Instructions

Slice the green onions, keeping the whites and greens separate.

In a pot, sauté the white parts of the green onions (and garlic, if using) with the minced ginger until fragrant.

Add the cubed turkey and let it lightly brown.

Stir in turmeric, black pepper, and salt.

Add carrots, celery, and cabbage.

Pour in enough water or broth to cover everything. Add the bay leaf.
