Hearty Nourishing Meal

Rich, savory garlic Dijon sirloin paired with lightly floral roasted carrots and buttery greens. This plate layers bold flavor with grounding ingredients for a balanced, satisfying dinner that feels indulgent but intentional.


🥕 Ingredients

Garlic Dijon Sirloin

  • 1 sirloin steak (tenderized)

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp honey (or brown sugar)

  • Heavy cracked black pepper

  • 1 tbsp butter (for finishing)

Lavender Honey Carrots

  • Fresh carrots, peeled and sliced

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • Salt + pepper

  • Optional: pinch smoked paprika

  • 1–2 tsp lavender honey (added at end)

Garlic Butter Kale

  • Dinosaur kale, chopped

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • Small amount lard (optional)

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • Garlic powder

  • Salt + pepper


🔥 Instructions

1. Prepare the Steak

Mix minced garlic, Worcestershire, olive oil, Dijon, honey, and cracked pepper.
Massage into steak and let sit 10–20 minutes.

Cook in a very hot skillet or grill:

  • 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness)

Add butter during final minute and baste generously.
Rest steak 5 minutes before slicing.


2. Roast the Carrots

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Toss carrots with oil or butter, salt, pepper, and optional paprika.
Roast about 25 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.

Add lavender honey during the last 5 minutes (or drizzle immediately after roasting). Toss gently.


3. Sauté the Kale

Melt butter (and optional lard) in skillet.
Quickly sauté minced garlic (30 seconds).
Add kale and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook 5–7 minutes until tender but vibrant.
