A simple, grounding comfort meal built from real ingredients — bright lemon garlic chicken, naturally sweet roasted potato, and savory asparagus for a balanced, nourishing plate.


🍋 Ingredients

Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs

  • 1–1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs

  • Small amount lard (for rubbing chicken)

  • Fresh lemon juice

  • Minced garlic

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Dried parsley

  • Salt & black pepper

  • Optional paprika


Air-Fried Sweet Potatoes

  • 1–2 large sweet potatoes

  • Butter or small amount lard

  • Pinch salt

  • Optional cinnamon


Roasted Asparagus

  • Fresh asparagus spears

  • Small amount lard or butter

  • Garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper

  • Parmesan cheese (added after baking)


🔥 Instructions

1. Start with the Sweet Potatoes

Wash sweet potatoes thoroughly.
Use a fork to poke several holes all around — this prevents bursting and helps them cook evenly.

Air fry at 375°F for 30–40 minutes
until soft and tender.

Once done:

  • Slice open

  • Add butter or lard

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional cinnamon

Set aside while finishing the meal.


2. Prep & Season the Chicken

Pat chicken thighs dry.
Rub lightly with lard first to keep moisture and help seasoning stick.

Season with:

  • Fresh lemon juice

  • Minced garlic

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Parsley

  • Salt & pepper

  • Optional paprika

Massage seasoning evenly over chicken.
Let sit about 10–20 minutes if possible.


3. Air Fry the Chicken

Preheat air fryer to 375°F.

Cook:

  • 8–10 minutes first side

  • Flip

  • 8–10 minutes second side

Chicken should reach 165°F internal temperature.

Let rest a few minutes before serving.


4. Roast the Asparagus Last

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Lightly coat asparagus with lard or butter.
Season with:

  • Garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper

Bake 8–10 minutes until tender.

After baking:
